For the Peace Mediation Processes MA course at ETH, I co-designed two unique educational media formats: a set of game cards and an animated video. Each one had its own role to play — the game cards break down the micro-skills used in peace mediation, giving students a hands-on way to explore the subtle art of negotiation.
The animated video dives into the “5-Phase Model of Mediation,” turning abstract theory into an engaging visual journey. The real challenge? Building a visual world where each phase feels distinct and easy to grasp — all while designing a character that could work universally across cultures, religions, and regions.
It was an absolute blast bringing these concepts to life, and I learned so much about the world of mediation along the way.
