In collaboration with the Basel Historical Museum, I created an animated video explaining how psychiatric diagnoses are made.
Given full creative freedom, I brought to life a character named Birdie—first sketched during a trip to Japan a few years ago. I’d long hoped to animate him, and this project felt like the perfect opportunity. I’m grateful the museum trusted me to illustrate the emotional journey of diagnosis, and I hope the video offers clarity and empathy.
